Wound Closure with Rotational Flap

Wound closure and reconstruction should aim to return the patient to normal function as soon as possible. To achieve this aim, the key question in decision making is when and how should a particular wound be closed. Rotational/transposition flaps are subdermal plexus flaps that involve rotation of a piece of skin that is continuous with one portion of the defect.
