Angular Limb Deformity Correction 

Angular limb deformities are common orthopedic conditions in dogs, and a wide variety of deformities can occur. These deformities have most commonly been described in the canine antebrachium. Variation in angular conformation of other long bones has been speculated to contribute to other orthopedic conditions, including patellar luxation and cranial cruciate ligament rupture.

How much does Angular Limb Deformity Correction cost?

The all inclusive fee is $4,500.00

This includes:

  • Intake Physical Examination
  • Pre-Anesthetic Bloodwork: CBC, full chemistry panel, clotting profile when indicated
  • EKG
  • I.V. Catheter
  • I.V. Fluids
  • Pre-Anesthetic analgesia drugs
  • Preoperative imaging (radiographs, CT scan)
  • Local or regional pain control (epidural, brachial plexus block)
  • Anesthesia induction drugs tailored to the individual patient 
  • Anesthesia monitoring by: EKG, CO2 end tidal, O2 saturation, Blood pressure, body temperature
  • Anesthesia Maintenance on isoflurane
  • Angular Limb Deformity Correction Surgery
  • Postoperative imaging (radiographs, CT scan)
  • Post-surgical recovery monitoring
  • Post-surgical therapy laser treatment
  • Hospitalization as required
